RSS, or Rich Site Summary, is a new way to deliver and receive frequently changing web content. Many of the portals, such as Yahoo and Google, have an RSS Reader built directly into your personal home page. You can subscribe to certain news feeds, and when new content is delivered, you receive the article summary and can choose to retrieve the full article, or click a link to be taken to the news deliverer's website. It is a lot like getting an email evrytime the feed you subscribed to publishes a new article.
